We should mention that we scheduled our Wedding weekend over the July 4th Holiday to help those traveling from out-of-town with an extra day off.

On the downside, because of the Holiday, Hotels and Airlines will book faster that usual.

Try to make your arrangements early!

bulletTravel- Air

Buffalo is primarily served by one main airport- Buffalo-Niagara International (airport code BUF)

In general, airfares are reasonable to/from Buffalo, although the best fares typically involve a connection. Southwest is an exception, as they are hub-less and normally fly direct.

An alternative to Buffalo-Niagara International is Toronto Pearson International Airport (airport code YYZ; approx. 90 mile drive from Buffalo). Fares in/out of Toronto can be very competitive, particularly from the West Coast.

Some favorite online sites for airfare deals to Buffalo are Travelocity, Orbitz, and CheapTickets.

bulletTravel- Ground

The Buffalo area straddles Interstate 90, which runs East/West across Massachusetts, New York, and Ohio. See a map here.
